When I Was Younger

Something I desperately wanted when I was younger was this walkietalky/ phone. It would come in a pack of two so I could give one to a friend so I could talk to them. It was almost like a phone but I could only text and my friend had to be a had to be within 200 feet of me. I used tho think it was the coolest thing ever because I did not have a phone yet. My mom would always look in stores to find me one. She eventually found one and bought it for me for Christmas. I gave the other one to my friend, but they would not work. She lived two streets away, which was past the length away limit. We could never fine one that had service as far as me and my friend were.

Boyfriennnnd 

One thing I did last weekend that was unusual was going to the mall and movies with my boyfriend.  I say it is unusual because normally me and my boyfriend just sit in my house all weekend. Which is fine with me, but I like to be able to get out of my house every once in awhile. It was nice to get away from my family for once because I am ALWAYS around them. My brother tried going with us but i had to put a stop to that.  We first went to the mall so my boyfriend could go Christmas shopping for me. So i already know what he bought me, but I do not mind I guess, because I gotta make sure he gets the right stuff.  After he was done shopping, we went to the movies to watch Catching Fire. Which was a good movie, other than how it ended. So next year, my boyfriend plans on going to the midnight premiere to see the next movie in the Hunger Games series. 

One Thing I Would Change

If I could change one thing in the world, I would change who my my "dad" is. I would rather have my step-dad as my real dad. I would because my real "father" (I call him sperm donor) does not care about me whatsoever. He has never made any effort to try to contact me, though I have tried to contact him. My mom used to bowl in the same leauge as him on Saturday, so I used to see him every Saturday. I have tried to talk to him, but he just ignores me. he acts like I am invisible, and does not even acknowledge that I am his child, he called me "it" in court. What a great "father", right?  He made a promise to my mom that he would talk to us about starting to see me, but he has yet to fulfill that promise. I have never actually met him, nor do I plan to anymore.
I would much rather my biological dad be my step-dad, the man I consider my father. He has been here for me as a father figure since he started seeing my mom. He does not look at me as just his step-daughter, he considers me his real daughter. He is there for me and helps provide for me, like a real father should.

Ninja

If I had the choice to be a pirate or a ninja for a day I would be a ninja. I would rather be a ninja because pirates scare me. Pirates are usually old, dirty, and smell bad, and I would rather not have those characteristics. I would also rather be a ninja because they can do activities without being seen. I do not like people, so I would be happy without being seen, because I would not have to worry about people looking at me or trying to talk to me. Ninjas are also very talented in fighting and karate, so I could beat up people that i do not like or that annoy me and not get in trouble.

Music

Music is an important aspect in my life, because it keeps me occupied. It also keeps me calm when I am mad or upset. Music helps me because when I do not want to deal with other people or be around them, I can put in headphones and ignore the world. This helps because sometimes I just want to be alone, without people to bother me, and music helps shut out everyone around me. When I am in a bad mood, I can go in to my room and listen to music, and I will normally start to feel better. Music also helps me when I am bored, cleaning, or even studying. It helps because it makes it seem as if the time is going by quicker. It also gives me something to do, such as dance and sing along.

If Money Were No Object

If money were no object, I would become a professional softball player. Softball is my favorite sport and activity. I could play it all day everyday. Playing softball would keep me busy and I would be happy playing it everyday.
I could become a personal trainer for younger girls. This would affect society because I can help girls become better softball players. They might want to, but do not know how. I could help them gain basic skills and become overall better players. Helping young girls become fantastic players would not only fill them with joy, it would also make my life happy. I can not only do what I love everyday, but also help other people. Helping other people would bring me joy because I like knowing I can be there for people and help them.

Softball

My favorite hobby has to be playing softball. I love the sport, it is my life. If I ever had to quit playing I would be one depressed person. Quitting the sporting is something I never want to have to do.
My position is third base, and I love it. Because, it is considered the "hotspot" so I get a lot of plays. I also get to stop people from stealing and going home. I get a rush when I ground a perfect ball and catch a line drive, and even get a runner out when they try to steal.
My absolute favorite thing in softball is hitting. The feeling of a perfect hit is amazing, especially when people cheer me on. Every time I step up to the plate, my goal is to hit it to the fence.
Softball season is my favorite part of the school year, I wish it could be all year long. I wait all year to be able to play, then the season is over so fast.

What I Value Most

One thing I value a lot is my bed. I value it because I like to sleep, a lot. I really like my sleep, therefor I really value my bed quite a bit. If I did not have my bed I would have to sleep on my floor or something, and no one wants to do that. I like my bed because it is pretty comfy and pretty  big. My bed is all cute, because it has neon pink and zebra bedspread that match my room, and furry pillows. The only bad thing about my bed is that it is a loft bed, so it is like a foot away from the ceiling. So I tend to hit my head on the ceiling quite a bit. If I did not have my bed, or at least a comfy bed I would be a pretty crumpy person, because I would not get decent sleep.

Fair Week

The best thing i did all summer is probably staying at the fair with my baby Mikayla, because I did like nothing else all summer. I stayed with in her camper with her, which was pretty fun, other than how small it was. We ate a lot of fair food, because we are some big girls. We got to see a bunch of cute animals, although a horse keep trying to bite me. We also got to watch a horse pull which was cool because I did not know horses could pull so much weight. We got to hear her drunk neighbors be drunk and act crazy. We had to sleep in the smallest little tent. One night, some girls were walking by and were talking about how nobody could be sleeping in our tent since it was so small. So, they decided to knock on our tent and asked if anyone was there, so Mikayla went in on 'em. I also got to spend time with my boyfriend since my parents brought him. We were looking at the cutest little bunnies and we were going to get one and name it Rex, but my daddy said no.

My Name.

My name is Lindsey. Many people misspell it by spelling it as Lindsay. Which kind of annoys me because  think it looks ugly and looks like it should be pronounced Lindsaye.
My name does not really have any special meaning or reasoning behind it, it is just the name I was given. My mom choose my name by putting names in a hat and picking one out. Which I think is a little crazy, because I do not see how someone chooses their child's name that they will have their rest of their lives by just choosing it out of a hat. I was either going to be named Brittany, Briana, or Kayleigh. I would rather be named Kayleigh, because I think it is a prettier name and it is a more unique name.
There is someone named after me. My middle name is Danielle. So, my mom's friend named their daughter Lindsey Danielle because they really liked my name. They also thought I had a bubbly personality so they wanted their daughter to kind of be like me. Which I think is pretty cool because not many people can say they have someone named after them.
My boyfriend and my mom gave me the nickname Rex. they say I have as short of arms as a t-Rex, which I do not think is entirely true. It does not bother me though, because they always make fun of me and mess around with me like that.

Rule Thingy

I think the number one rule people should follow is to never hold a grudge. If people are always holding grudges against others and always mad at others they will live a miserable life. They will be miserable because they will be too worried about staying mad at someone to live a happy life. People also should not hold grudges because it can lead to a lonely life. Sometimes people need a friend or someone they can tell their problems to, but they will not have anyone there for them. They will not because they will be too mad at someone to want to tell them what is going on or to want them as a friend. When holding grudges, people can also become very stressed, which can eventually lead to health problems, such as depression.
