"Trust Me"

One time I had to get someone to trust me was when I was babysitting my mom's granddaughter Madison. My mom had her for a week, and I wanted to watch her overnight by myself. I was only in eight grade, so my mom was not sure if I was ready to watch a baby all by myself yet. I knew I was mature enough and ready to watch Madison, so I had to prove to her that I was. She made me watch her do all the necessary things people need to do for a baby, such as dressing her, changing her, feeding her, and making her bottle. She also then had me do all of those things while she watched to make sure I was doing them correctly. Once she seen I knew how to do everything correctly she let me watch her overnight. I did a very good job, which made her proud.

Essay paragraph

Everyone has encountered many struggles through their highschool years, but I have faced a few specific ones of my own. Last year, I was diagnosed with major depression disorder, which I still deal with today. Having depression makes going to school a hard thing for me to do. I tend to just not want to go, or even want to be around everyone else. I become lazy and dont complete assignments, or do not give much effort when I do decide to do them. Having this also makes classes that I do not enjoy difficult, such as science. I tend to doze off and not pay attention in class because I do not have much interest in what im learning. When I do not pay attention, it is hard to know answers to assignments and homework, so sometimes I just give up and do not finish them. Though I have encountered struggles, I try to keep in mind all of my accomplishments, so I do not become upset.
